Richard Dobson / Sergio Webb / March 2010

Coming to Europe for three weeks in March, renowned guitarist Sergio Webb will join us for the 26th annual Albisgüetli Country Festival on March 12th where we will be opening for Delbert McClinton. Sergio has played with Pinto Bennett, Gail Davies, Tish Hinojosa, David Olney, and yours truly with my old State of the Heart band. He has recently released two excellent CDs of his own. It was a great pleasure to share the bill with Sergio and David Olney in Texas back in October, and we are looking forward to more good times and great music in 2010.

Don Ricardo's Life & Times

Originally titled "Poor Richard's Newsletter", this series goes back to Galveston Island in the late 1970's. Some of the original pieces were printed in Peter O'Brien's Omaha Rainbow,an English fanzine devoted to independent music.

Published three or four times a year, one of my back burner projects is to edit these with a view towards making the entire collection available.
